Alerts for older versions of software can display two different VirusTotal results

The Alert view displays file information in a popup that always refers to the latest version of a program even if the alert was actually for an earlier version of the program. This could be confusing. Again, this is a minor issue that I noticed a while back.

Here’s an example of how to reproduce the two different VirusTotal links.

If I click on the information icon in the alert for an older version of the program then I get the link to the original alert report:

But if I pause the mouse pointer over the filename in that alert then a popup appears that refers to the VirusTotal check for the latest version of that program.

The reports are clearly different just by comparing the VirusTotal score i.e. 0/73 versus 0/61
