Hi. I need some help with Minecraft.
I’ve downloaded the latest Minecraft Launcher and with ‘Ask To Connect’ enabled (A feature I really wanted) it fails to connect “Oh no, something went wrong, and we couldn’t connect to Minecraft services”. I have unblocked everything and it still happens. With ‘Click To Block’ it works fine.
I checked the event viewer logs and it blocks \device\harddiskvolume7\minecraft.exe . The volume does not correspond to a physical disk in the system.
I’ve tried to add a rule to manually allow this in Windows Defender and it does nothing. I added C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.4297127D64EC6_188.8.131.52_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\Minecraft.exe and it connects too (checked with Process Monitor and Process Explorer).
