"Ask To Connect" reverting back to "Click to block" issue

The ask to connect button is acting very strange. When I try to choose this option, it sneakily reverts back to “Click to block”, which is a massive security issue. I had to keep my computer switched off until the update where we were promised this issue was fixed (The september release).

The issue is still not fixed, and I have the latest update. Why is this? What could be causing this. I might ask for a refund if this persists, because it’s the only reason I upgraded to a basic license. Everything hinges on the “Ask To Connect” feature working correctly!


Please go to add/remove programs and uninstall GlassWire, then go to the ProgramData folder and delete the GlassWire folder, then reboot, then reinstall and it should fix it.

for many issues this seems to be the solution suggested by Glasswire team. Is this the only way to fix such issues. Hope in future Glasswire releases suggesting this as a solution will come down

  • Reinstall Glasswire
