While scanning executables from within GW, each scanned binary showed up in GW as being infected. Since this is highly improbable, I have uninstalled GW. Just in case, I’m executing a full system scan using Microsoft Essentials. After the scan, I’ll reinstall GW (I have the latest) and check whether the issue manifests once more.
Virus scans are performed through your native antivirus, not by GlassWire itself.
I’m aware of that, but after running a full system scan, with the latest malware library, nothing was detected. Reinstalling GW, everything has returned back to “normal”. This is not the first time I’ve had GW show infected binaries that wound up being false positives. It happens. I don’t know why, but it does.
