I recently bought Glasswire and tried to ‘unlock’ the Alerts, but when i do so it seems that it doesn’t ‘remember’ my choice. What i mean is that when i restart glasswire, or when i open the settings again it is locked again … Also when i set the firewall to ‘ask to connect’ and close and reopen glasswire it is set to ‘clock to block’ again …

Ok … It seems that, in fact, it remembers my choice about the firewall but it resets it when i try to ‘unlock’ the alerts …
Nevermind … it resets the choice about the firewall all by himself after ~30 seconds …
Please try the following:
Go to add/remove programs and uninstall GlassWire, then reboot!
Please go to the Windows Firewall control panel and choose “restore defaults”. Reboot.
Install the latest GlassWire version and let me know your results. Thanks!

Then, I did what you asked and now the firewall settings work ( yes! ) but the alerts settings still don’t work ;(

The lock in the settings is the admin lock, so it will always show as locked unless you are currently using the settings. You click the lock, then OK the admin lock unlock the settings, then you can change the settings.
Once the actual settings are changed GlassWire should remember it.
The admin lock is so non-admin users can’t change the GlassWire settings.
