Hi
Do you have a time frame or month for the next release of GlassWire will be 64-bit as you have told us.
Why i ask is i have another new PC and would prefer to wait for the this release.
Installing 32-bit then 64-bit, is to messy as they both install to different locations.
Thank you…
GlassWire worked fine for a year then broke April 6 2026, seemingly after an auto-update to 3.8.1033.0 on Windows 10 Pro x64 19045.6456.
After minidump analysis: GWCtlSrv.exe crashes during WFP registration under WOW64. gwdrv.sys loads fine. The 32-bit service binary can’t register with the 64-bit WFP kernel in 3.8 but the previous version handled this differently and worked.
Multiple reinstalls, downgrades, and data wipes all fail for the same reason.
Any ETA on the x64 release? Thanks
@Huda_GlassWire Seems we are getting the silent treatment again. We see you answer some questions in the forums about the software for a time. Now nothing?

After providing detailed info and logs of an issue in support call, I just got an awful generic boilerplate response. Disable VPN (not using one), restart the service (it’s running fine), reinstall with a full reset (erm, no). None of it relevant to a the specific application issue.
They must be been reading what to say from the church HIM book.
It’s amazing that I see no one raving about the latest 3.8.1033. That says everything about where this is still at. It’s also amazing that the main Glasswire page is showing constant downloads as if 3.7.880 never happened even though it still shows as my auto-update version.
Hey everyone - sorry for the delayed reply, Huda is on annual leave currently but I will be able to help in the meantime. I’ve spoken to our product team and x64 is actively being worked on and all being well should be ready by the end of next month.

Hi Katie Long time no hear from you, we did like your interaction here in the forums to get support for the GW users…
Hi!
Thank you, it’s really nice to hear that. I was on maternity leave for a while, but I’m now back and still around to help where I can. Huda has taken over as the Product Manager, so she’s the best person to reach out to for the latest updates on the product, bugs, and roadmap.
I’ll still be popping in here from time to time and will help where I can—great to see you all again!
