Install Stuck + Win 11 + 2.3

I downloaded the latest installer for my Win 11 desktop and the installer seems to have stalled. Install log below. I’m going to have to kill the process and hope that I can uninstall whatever did get installed without it fully completing. Lot of results on Google for installs failing but I wasn’t able to find one specifically failing at this step.

I was able to remove everything the installer installed with Revo Uninstaller including all registry entries. I’d like to install this and have it work so does anyone have any suggestions?

Unfortunately uninstaller apps will cause this issue. GlassWire has a Windows driver, and these uninstaller apps don’t know how to remove the driver so it causes a lot of issues with installing, or uninstalling our app.

Please go to add/remove program and see if GlassWire is still listed or not, then try to uninstall there and see if it solves the problem.

If not please reboot, then try reinstalling GlassWire with “clean install” checked with the installer. Did any of those things solve it?

Please continue to try rebooting, then keep checking the Windows add/remove program area for GlassWire and keep uninstalling/rebooting, and usually Windows can solve the issue that way.

Any time I’ve upgraded GlassWire while on Windows 11 it stalls there. Cancel it, then rerun it and it will be fine.

Hey Ken, thanks for the reply. I think you might have misunderstood. I never installed or used Revo prior to the install of Glasswire failing. I only used that after it didn’t fully install.

Hopefully what @Tarun said below works otherwise I guess I’m just not running Glasswire. Oh well, seemed interesting.
