Installation Failure error, Windows 7, 64 bit

Hi,

I have “installation failed” error for 2.1.140 version on W7/64b. It is the first time I try. I checked the similar topics and can’t solve it. any way?

If you run Windows update, then try again does it help? Some very old Windows 7 installations can have issues if never updated at all. These issues can effect all types of software and not just ours.

Thanks, but the last windows update was just before GW installation. Is there any other choice?

If you had a Windows update, then perhaps this does not apply to you. I’ll see if our team has some more ideas.

Make sure that your device has enough space.
Run Windows Update a few times.
Check third-party drivers and download any updates.
Unplug extra hardware.
Check Device Manager for errors.
Remove third-party security software.
Repair hard-drive errors.
Do a clean restart into Windows.
