Is the firewall still one when glasswire disconects from the server?

Some times after being away from my computer i find out that glasswire is disconnected from the server.
I actually have no clue about what this means… the taskbar icon turns to white and i can click for an “attemp to reconnect” that never works and I have to restart my computer to get it working.

My question is: is the firewall still working while glasswire is on this state?
Second question: is the firewall still working if glasswire exits for some reason?

Sorry for the issue.

Yes, GlassWire continues to block in this state and it blocks even if it’s not running (for example on startup). This is because the Windows API we use for blocking should block even when GlassWire is not running, since it’s a part of Windows itself.
