Need to re-enter my activation code every few days (solved)

I need to re-enter by activation code every few days… I’ve already tried re-installing. The glassware servers are apparently available because it does successfully activate… it just doesn’t “stick”. This loss of activation didn’t come after a reboot… it came after waking up from computer sleep this morning.

We just found the problem and we’ll have an update out this week. Most customers don’t experience this, but for the ones who do it’s very annoying and we apologize.

I’ll bump this thread when the update is available.

Some other reasons this can happen:

  1. You use cleaning software to clean your PC. Please white list the programdata/GlassWire folder when using that type of software. This software can sometimes deleted our license files.

  2. Your license is corrupted somehow. Uninstall GlassWire, reboot, then reinstall using the “clean” install option if your files were somehow corrupted.

It is updated, and I have no software to clean the pc, and I reinstalled already, and it is getting me crezy.

I just reactivated it today, also on my second laptop GlassWire is blocking steam and the only fix is to change the behavior to Click To Block, also you put your mail contacts as images… really ?

Are you using GlassWire 1.0 (the version with Steam) or 2.0?

Please email us if it happens again. If you’re using cleaning software please white list the programdata/glasswire folder so our registration won’t be deleted.
