I am a new user and I would like to know how to automated the search for new items. Should we always click on the “scan” button?

Please go to the top left GlassWire menu and choose “settings”.
Next click the check box “Things scan interval” and GlassWire will scan every 30 minutes or so. However I would not recommend making it scan more than once every 5 or 10 minutes because if you have a lot of devices it could theoretically slow your network a little.
Also go to the “Security” tab and choose “Things monitor” for more options.
