Two modems under one!

I finally found the mystery of the 2 modems in [Things]. They’re both the same DSL Modem but Glasswire is detecting the WiFi inside the modem as a different device with a different MAC Address, therefore it’s showing two modems. If anybody has had this problem, you know what is going on! I will show you what I mean.

Glasswire actually shows network interface devices so a computer or router with more than one network interface can appear more than once. There are several topics where this is mentioned, e.g.

Multiple MAC addresses are common for routers. For example, if you can separately use more than one WiFi frequency band, i.e. 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz, then they will have separate MAC addresses and IP addresses. Your PC will be connected to the router using WiFi which is why you can see both. My PC is cabled so I only ever see one address for the router and cannot see the WiFi addresses. Thank you Remah for the info. It was totally blowing my mind when I saw it and I was not getting an Evil twin alert. Now that you mentioned it, I do have dual Band Wi-Fi and now it makes sense. Thank you again for the info!
