Updating Glasswire discards custom database setting

When Glasswire 1.0.35b was released, I reported the following:

“Installing this update cleared my C:\ProgramData\GlassWire\service\glasswire.conf, which was being used to specify a custom database location. Updates should definitely preserve user settings, not simply discard them…”

Installing 1.0.38 just did the exact same thing.

We’re still investigating how to do this easily. Our quality assurance found some problems with the technique we were using to do this so we had to skip it for now.
