Why must I keep blocking the same programs?

Am I missing something here? On any other firewall a blocked program will remain blocked. In GlassWire I have to keep blocking the same programs. School me, please.

You shouldn’t have to block the same programs with GlassWire. What programs are you having to block more than once?

Once I boot up the laptop tomorrow, I’ll have to again block all the nVidia programs, M$ photos (if I open a photo).
Also under the “Things” tab: I have a Dell program that has Amazon phoning home to an address in Alexandria , VA. But I can’t block it from doing so.

You must have some kind of issue with your Windows Firewall. We use the Windows Firewall API for blocking.

Please uninstall GlassWire, Reboot (important!), then go to your Windows Firewall control panel and choose “restore defaults”.

Now reinstall GlassWire using our “clean install” and “reset firewall” options. It should solve the issue.

If you are using two firewalls simultaneously this could also cause this issue.
