I had a pop up alert/notification appear to prompt for update or schedule update; I selected the update option; after approximately 10-15 mins it failed. But all this time I was sat watching it I had no idea whether it was still running ok or not…or having failed…as it ultimately did, at what point it failed. Adding a progress bar with a percentage indicator and maybe a short text label (e.g. “downloading”, “removing old version”, “updating files”) would enable the user to know all was progressing satisfactorily or, if not at what point it failed. Surely in the case of failure this would also help the Glasswire team to understand if patterns emerge with failures at particular points (percentage etc) in the update process?
