Same computer, new hard drive. Why is this so difficult, if not seemingly impossible. All my other programs have serials to them. I install them. put in serial, done. Not Glasswire, even logging in after deleting the old Endpoint, still shows an active subscription attached to my old hard drive. The old hard drive bit the dust, it was inaccessible, even as a side drive it can not be accessed. I love Glasswire, well loved it until I realized how much you have to go through to get what is left of a subscription moved to a new hard drive. Jesus Christ if it only had a serial number. I am not paying for another licence to use this service, then have 2 licences, of which one is to a hard drive that is history never to be used again. I am at my wits end trying to transfer what is left of my subscription. And I am going to the bank tomorrow and closing every wallet attached to my account so no company can keep charging me over, and over again for things I no longer have have, things they wont let me easily transfer, things that are not working like they should, or things that are too difficult to make use of because not having a serial number is the way to do it these days. Serial numbers are so 1990’s. BECAUSE THIS COMPANY DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THEM NOR USE THEM IT ACCOUNTS FOR 95% OF THE PROBLEMS RELATED TO GLASSWIRE. So many problems could be avoided with the use of a serial number. Apparently some Poindexter convinced them serial numbers are not the way to go, so they ran with it. And this forum was conceived from the same reasoning. Whenever you have a company that chooses the route of the Forum over customer service reps dealing with questions and issues. That is because the volume of complaints along with all the FAQ got to be so overwhelming and to such a large amount, bring in the forum. This absolves all the questions that have no answer or that they don’t want to have to answer because in the forum it is all personal opinion. personal experience, but no sold absolute answers. I should have known better than to subscribe. It’s the same no matter where you go, they push it in your face and do not relent, SUBSCRIBE, SUBSCRIBE, SUBSCRIBE. So you do. But when the problems arise, and you need answers, poof like that they are gone. And at the end of the day I will still not have my subscription running on my new drive. Same computer just different drive, how does it not let me just log in and everything work. Same IP address, same internet company, same…I give up…Tinywall is starting to look real good right about now
So, when logging in from the firewall, you delete the devices you no longer have where your premium subscription is set to. Then you click the upgrade button to upgrade the install you logged in on.
I know it works, because I had to do this earlier today when I clean installed my firewall for this new update.
If you want support, you can email them. The forum has been lacking with representatives helping people lately.
