Hello, your program is a great visualization tool. May I ask if you could add user notes—specifically, a column in the traffic map table where users can enter their own information about the traffic? For example, here I can see that it refers to Redmond on the page after clicking ‘Search Online’, but this is not apparent from the name.(So if there are more of them, it’s not clear.)
Thank you very much, Team of GlassWire.
Hi @jirka_skalnik,
Thanks for the kind words and the suggestion! Quick question before we dig in: would it help more if we just showed better info in the table by default (like the “Redmond” detail you mentioned), so you wouldn’t need to add notes manually? Or is the value really in being able to add your own context?
Both could be useful, but knowing which matters more would help us prioritize.
Good day,
User’s own notes are probably a higher priority, because not all information is always fully relevant. I would prefer giving priority to those personal notes, but also incorporating the “better information” you mentioned later on. That would certainly be welcome as well, perhaps in the form of a bulletin when hovering over “wnsnotifytrafficmanagernet”, or as a picturebox button in the form of a small “i” icon placed immediately next to this label. Or perhaps even give the user the option to configure it themselves, rather than forcing it on everyone from the start… There could be a button in the settings to enable extended information related to this window.
Thank you for your time.
Appreciate the feedback. We’ve made a note of the request for a user notes column in the Traffic Map and will keep it in mind as we continue improving the product.
