Glasswire block Cloudflare so i cannot start Cloudflare

  • Cloudflare One Client version 2026.4.1350.0
  • Glasswire free version 3.8.1033

I have configured WARP service to allow connections.

When i try to stop “GlassWire Control Service” then Cloudfale can start.

Please assist this issue. Thank you.

after reinstalling windows and glasswire and warp the problem happend again

I have similar problem (and similar “solution“) with my local DNS Server (Technitium), Glasswire (3.8.1061) is blocking 127.0.0.1:53/UDP. I can use local DNS server with Glasswire 3.7.880

Update: 3.8.1061 with legacy driver works. I can use my local DNS server

Thank you for your reply. In my case, the problem persists after updating to version 3.8.1061, as well as after performing a clean install.

The issue is that I am unable to query my local DNS server (127.0.0.1:53/UDP), whereas queries to remote DNS servers work perfectly fine.

nslookup www.google.com 127.0.0.1 → DNS server timeout
nslookup www.google.com 1.1.1.1 → Works as expected

This recently started happening to me as well. I have to stop the GlassWire service in order to make WARP work.

I also seem to be having this - drove me mad to the point of reinstalling Windows thinking something was wrong with my networking stack. Was only when I reinstalled Glasswire and it stopped working again that I came across this thread.

My Cloudflare WARP is configured to a Zero-Trust organisation. As soon as Glasswire is running, connectivity checks fail and WARP doesn’t connect. If WARP is already connected and Glasswire is started, all DNS lookups from that point fail.
