Glasswire consuming upwards of 1000MB of memory?!

Any idea why the Glasswire program is consuming 500MB+ of memory and the Glasswire service is consuming 400MB+ of memory? Seems to be a bit much.

Also, I cleared the history and it didn’t reduce the usage. Is there a way to bring the usage down or is this the norm?

There was a lite edition of version 2, but they never did the same for version 3. The latest available to download is v2.3.449

My main application was using 1000+MB of RAM. The solution for me was to use the clear history button in Settings under General, I kept the last week. This has brought it down to 291MB for me, much better.

High memory usage in GlassWire is normal, especially in version 3. To reduce it, use the “Clear History” button in Settings → General and keep only recent data. This can significantly lower RAM usage.
