What OS are you running? Win 10 or 11? If Win 10 then check for updates. Uninstall GW then reset your firewall to defaults then reboot your computer then reinstall GW. Hope that helps. :grinning:

Win 11, updated regularly. Problem seems to be with GUI, not the service itself. It still works, but every time GUI needs to be started to look into something and notifications are not working as well.

Interesting, that on previous GW version the culprit was Qt5Gui.dll, now it’s Qt5Core.dll.

Have you tried a full uninstall/clean install? It may be worth trying with Bulk Crap Uninstaller to help clean out a bit more thoroughly too.

Guess I’ll try. Shame to lose config though.
BCU is a must have, been using it for years)

Support is disappointing btw - no response in 5 days. For 50€/year one would expect at least an auto-reply…

Should be able to back up your configs without any problems.

What Tarun said, Back your settings up and uninstall and do a clean reinstall, make sure your windows firewall is reset to its defaults also. Hope it works. Try sending another support@glasswire.com letter, it might get their attention. Hope you get it fixed. Let us know how you fixed it if you do get it fixed. :grinning:
