GlassWire not detecting FS2020 downloads

I’m new to GlassWire and currently only using the free edition but looking to upgrade in the future to the Elite version. However whilst testing it I have noticed that GlassWire doesn’t detect all network traffic. I have installed the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and it is downloading it’s data at a sustained 30Mbps, however GlassWire is not detecting or displaying this data transfer in any way. I have restarted my machine numerous times since GlassWire was installed.

Seems to be the same issue i reported here: Issue with Glasswire and Flight Simulator

If you would upgrade to a paid version and enable the firewall feature, FS wouldn’t be able to connect at all.

Yes, that looks like it’s probably got the same root cause. I guess I’ll hold off upgrading to paid for the moment then!

@bebramsa

Did you try rebooting? GlassWire warns that it will not pick up all network activity that is active unless you reboot, but we do not force the reboot.

Also we just released an update this morning.

How do we access this unreleased game? We asked that before and we weren’t able to get it.

Yes, as I stated in the original post, my machine has been restarted several times since installing GlassWire and since starting the FS2020 update.

FS2020 was released today and is available on MS Game Pass.

I searched for MS Game Pass and I couldn’t find any results.

It’s available through the Microsoft Store (This is the version I am using):
https ://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/microsoft-flight-simulator-standard/9nxn8gf8n9ht#activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Or through Steam:
https ://store.steampowered.com/app/1250410/Microsoft_Flight_Simulator/

(Sorry had to put spaces after https to allow me to post links as I’m a new user)

@Ken_GlassWire please use the MS Store version as that seems to be the one we are having issues with

Thanks. I will close this thread so we don’t have multiple threads about this. I will respond to you in the other thread.
