Glasswire notification that Norton modify host file

For those who use Norton and GlassWire and receive a notification from GlassWire that the hosts file has been modified. Check the community.norton. (14 july Norton modify hosts file and says it’s malware).

For the time being, I am not turning off the “Alert setting” in GlassWire for the hosts file, nor am I setting it to “read-only”.

You’d be better off uninstalling Norton (Download Norton 360 Remover - Uninstall the Norton app (Remove Only)) and using the built in Microsoft Defender.
