What do I have to do to fix this? I will close the Glasswire application from my desktop and application tray only the find hours later that it is still using processing power through Task Manager. What gives?
GWCtslSrv.exe and
GWIdMon.exe both still run after I completely exit the application.
GlassWire is made to keep track of your mobile data so both our Android and Windows app have services that run in the background to do that. You can kill our service with your task manager if you prefer to do so, but when you restart GlassWire it will no longer be counting your traffic and you will have to restart the service again.
Services are common with security or any other software that keeps track of things on your computer or phone.
