GW 3.8.1033 messes with SMB mapped drives, slow to load

I’m running GW 3.8.1033 with the new driver type installed

when I do that, my SMB shares take ~1minute (maybe more) to populate in Explorer

if I switch to old GW driver, then the share shows up immediately without any significant delay

OS: W11 Pro for Workstations

CPU: Ultra 7 270K Plus

Mobo: ASUS STRIX Z890-H Gaming WiFi

RAM: 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s

NIC: Intel X520 SFP+

I have installed 3.8.1061 with the new driver and it still behaves like initially reported

the “old driver” still performs best, my SMB shares are instantly shown
