This is just a heads up for anyone with a similar issue, not actually lost on “what” or “why” it happened.
So on 2026.06.06 my log file grew to 1GB compared to the normal 10-30MB.
This was due to endless spamming of “glasswire::win::media::devices::GetAdapterMemory:58: -2005270523” hundreds of times a second which I assume was trying to identify the memory in my system as the Hardware Monitor only got implemented the day before with v3.8.1061.
The next day the log was only 400MB with the same line repeated and after that it was all gone.
So I assume it got fixed or it was just a fluke in my PC, but as some feedback for the devs consider crunching the log files.
If the same exact line down to the second repeats multiple times just add a counter to the end of it and stuff like this can be compressed by hundreds of factors. ![]()
I’m also disabling logging and deleting all the files cuz I have no need for these unless I’m actually instructed by someone here. ![]()
