Remove Block All Notification

The Situation:
When selecting ‘Block All’ in the firewall option, a persistent desktop notification appears.
It is always on top of any and all applications.

The problem:
It is always on top. No option to hide it, no option to disable it.
I cannot do my work, I cannot watch a movie, and I can’t play a game without it obscuring said content, thus rendering the option to block all rather useless because if I want to block traffic and enjoy my content without obstructive popups, I need to just leave it on ‘click to block’ then physically crawl under my desk and pull out the Ethernet cable.

The Solution:
Have it set to popup by default, but

  1. Add a few options in the settings menu, and on the popup itself to snooze the notification for 1hr/24hrs/72hrs/1week/permanently.

  2. Add option to turn off ‘Always on top’ visible on the popup.

  3. If there is a troubleshooting page within the app, you should also include a “check if firewall is set to block” link, at the top of the list.

The reason;
The devs want to help people identify the reason for their networking issue, but the current implementation is just overbearing, and fundamentally lazy thinking and programming.

Hello,
Adding choices to snooze the notice or off the ‘Always on top’ function would undoubtedly make it less annoying. Including a troubleshooting link to check the firewall status would also be quite beneficial. These enhancements would make operating the firewall much easier while keeping you informed.

Thanks!
