Repeated BSODs for years across many installs

The reason I suspect is because I regularly have a torrent client running with 10K+ outgoing connections causing the stack buffer overrun. To Glasswire’s credit, this has happened with other firewall software.

I’ve looked through similar threads and I’m not sure what the solution is, would adding the (suspected) problem application to incognito solve it?

PROCESS_NAME: GWCtlSrv.exe

ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000409 - The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application.

Hi @Randall_Lee,
the reason for the issue is not related to the BSOD issue. GWCtlSrv.exe crashes because it runs out of memory quota allowed by the OS. This is mostly likely caused by the torrent client. To fix this, you must add a torrent client application to the list of incognito as it is shown in the screenshot.

Hope that helps,
Andrea
