Hi, so I decided not to use glasswire after its trial expired, but something is still wrong.
I reset my firewall rules and that fixed almost everything, but now something still seems to be blocking Windows’ activation service from working correctly. This is causing windows to whine about it to me frequently. I think I may have blocked some important windows service, but I don’t know how to fix it beyond resetting the firewall rules.
GlassWire just uses the Windows Firewall API, so if you ever experience issues it’s easy to fix. If you’re an advanced user you can go to the Windows Firewall and delete GlassWire’s group rules, but there is also an easier way.
Go to add/remove programs and uninstall GlassWire.
Now go to the Windows Firewall control panel and choose “restore defaults”.
Now reboot.
If you’re still having an issue it’s most likely something unrelated to GlassWire.
