My glasswire suddenly stopped opening. I rebooted my computer and now glasswire doesnt work anymore.
The service is unable to start and the client does not load.
Tried reinstalling, clean reinstall. check windows integrity.
Everthing else works normaly.
Same thing happened to me this morning. Tried uninstall/reinstall current and previous versions…no good. Noticed that another application updated yesterday, and it installed/updated the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (specifically: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) - 14.44.35112). Did a system restore to before the Visual C++ installation, and now Glasswire works. Appears something in the redistributable that GW doesn’t like.

Thanks. I repaired the redistributables and GW is working again.
This version of GlassWire has been reported to fail starting its service on some Windows builds. Checking Windows Services to see if the GlassWire service is stuck on “Starting” or “Stopped” sometimes helps identify whether it’s a permissions or dependency issue.
