Can you expand on your reference to Mic detection? Why would a network monitor neeed access to my microphone?
It only applies to paid GlassWire users https://www.glasswire.com/buy/#Webcam_Mic_detection. We warn you if another app is using your mic/webcam. We don’t access the webcam/mic ourselves, we just watch it.
