Guessing the sound card is a Creative SoundBlaster solution. Assuming you got my dumps that were posted on Dropbox over the last weekend.

I don’t think we have ever had any issues with Creative, but I could be wrong. The dump files should help us solve this though, thanks!

We’re really frustrated with this problem also and we’ll continue to see if there is a way to solve this without the help of Nahimic. It’s strange, because we don’t really do anything audio related. Yes we do have the mic detection but it works in a way that isn’t related to these drivers in any way.

I’m also experiencing this problem with a fresh install of windows 10 and I don’t have Nahimic installed.

Can you expand on your reference to Mic detection? Why would a network monitor neeed access to my microphone?

It only applies to paid GlassWire users https://www.glasswire.com/buy/#Webcam_Mic_detection. We warn you if another app is using your mic/webcam. We don’t access the webcam/mic ourselves, we just watch it.
