Hostnames seem wrong

Applications are connecting to ip addresses that serve multiple host names.
It seems that glasswire doesn’t listen to the dns requests done before the connection and also not the hostname in the request.
Is there something to get more precise listings? The cdn server name is not that helpful

Please email us some examples if possible. GlassWire receives information from your ISP DNS server and we have never heard of this data being incorrect.

Well depending on how you get the hostname a CDN like Amazon Web Services, Cloudfront, Azure or Akamai can throw you off. Many domains out there have a cname pointing to a different website or host.
So unless Encrypted SNI is used, you need to link app, dns request, hostname when they are made and not get the hostname from a reverse lookup of the ip
