I currently run the paid for version I have of glasswire, and for some reason its blocking Microsoft Teams all the times. Sometimes Teams works, sometimes it doesnt. I have “allowed” every Teams process I can think of.
I know they update their client a large amount of times in a short period and basically every time a new .exe lands you have to “allow” it. But in this case, every Teams process (or sub process) I can find is allowed, but Teams is unable to get an Internet connection unless I disable glasswire.
This is typically because Microsoft Edge WebView2 has updated and GlassWire has silently blocked the new version. WebView2 is a critical component of MS Teams (and some other applications) and so you need to Allow it when this happens (which is frequently). This is a longstanding issue with GlassWire.
Great, glad to hear that fixed it. You will probably find you have to unblock it every week or two after it updates. This will remain the case until GlassWire provide a smarter approval rule.
