Hello. I just discovered Glasswire. Great ! Testing it. Have 1.0.28b.
I’m using VMware Workstation 10. Now and then, I got warnings about DNS address connection that has changed in VMWare Virtual Network card (VMNet).
Indeed that not a GlassWire issue I think. The DNS is really changing according to ipconfig /all
!?!?
Comparing a standard configuration (see below) and a changed one, only 2 lines are differents.
- “Connection-specific DNS Suffix” which is empty after “the change”
- “DNS Servers” which doesn’t exists (no DNS address set ?!)
The Virtual Network Card is in DHCP. I’ve tried to increase default lease (30 min,max 2 hours to 1 day,max 7 days), but it doesn’t help. Sometimes I got 6-7 warnings in a row, each one separated by 1-5 min. That fills the alert list…
Any VMWare user around with the same issue ?
