This dialog window is accessed from the GlassWire menu.
Three tabs of settings (
)
There are three tabs to access different groups of settings:

Client
is for settings related to this computer and to allow the GlassWire UI to access other GlassWire servers running on other computers. -
Server
to setup GlassWire as a server that can be accessed by other computers running GlassWire. -
Security
includes settings for all the GlassWire alerts on this computer.
Closing the Settings window (
)
The Settings
window can be closed in three ways:
- Save any setting changes:
- Select the
OK
button to save any changed settings…
- Select the
- Abandon any setting changes:
- Select the
Cancel
button to abandon any changed settings. - Select the
X
at the top right corner of the window to abandon
- Select the
Client tab (

The Client
tab has settings for GlassWire on this computer.
Under the Client
tab there are two buttons to view pages or sub-tabs if you like to think of them that way.

General
for the main GlassWire settings apart from alerts:
GlassWire Menu | Settings | Client | General -
Remote Server
to add another computer which you want to monitor from this computer:
GlassWire Menu | Settings | Client | Remote Server
Server tab (
)
The Server
tab has settings to setup GlassWire as a server that can be accessed by other computers running GlassWire.
Under the Server
tab there are two buttons to view pages (or sub-tabs if you like to think of them that way).

General
to specify the ports to be used to access this server
GlassWire Menu | Settings | Server | General -
Remote Access
to specify security settings so only authorised clients can access this server.

Security tab (

GlassWire has a range of alerts that you can be notified about. The Security tab allows you to turn them on/off, enable/disable a desktop notification, and specify other other settings for each alert…
OK button (
)
The OK
button will accept your changes to all settings in all tabs of the Settings
window.
It also closes the Settings
window.
Cancel button (
)
The Cancel
button will abandon all your changes in all the tabs in the Settings
window.
It also closes the Settings
window.
